With the collective efforts, we were able to put one name plate to put the names of local heroes which will help to go a long way in building a nation that’s rooted in its history and values the sacrifices made by its forebears. The school's playground was decorated with tricolor. The celebration kicked off with the hoisting of the national flag by a respected member of the community, followed by the singing of the national anthem by the enthusiastic students. Education is fundamental right of every child: 2nd April 2023

Education is fundamental right of every child: 2nd April 2023 “Aimed to empower underprivileged school children in rural villages of Uttrakhand.” Understanding the challenges faced by these children in accessing basic educational resources, we set out on a mission to bridge the gap and empower them to pursue their dreams with confidence. Through the collective efforts of our team, local partners, the community and with the support of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, we were able to provide essentials – uniforms, stationery items and sports goods. It was heartening to witness the excitement and gratitude on the faces of these children as we distributed notebooks, pens, pencils, scale, colors, and drawing books. These simple yet vital tools which enable them to fully engage in their studies, explore their creativity, and take their learning to new heights. Education is not just limited to textbooks and classrooms; it also encompasses physical and emotional development. With this in mind, we also provided sports goods to encourage physical activity, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle. From footballs to cricket sets, skipping ropes to rings and frees bee, we aimed to nurture a love for sports among these children and promote their overall well-being. During this project, we understand that the journey to provide quality education and opportunities for all is an ongoing mission. We remain committed to expanding our efforts and reaching even more children in remotest area. If you would like to contribute or volunteer for future initiatives, we encourage you to reach out to our organization. Together, we can continue to make a profound positive change in the lives of these young learners and shape a brighter tomorrow.

SPREAD WARMTH – JANUARY-2023

SPREADING WARMTH: A Campaign to provide Woolens-to School Children and blankets, Shawls to the needy! In an effort to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable communities during the harsh winter months, our organization embarked on a heart-warming campaign titled "Spreading Warmth." This initiative focused on distributing woolen -sweaters, caps, and socks to school children and blankets/shawls to the less fortunate. The primary goal was to ensure that everyone, regardless of their socio-economic background, could stay warm and comfortable during the cold season. Recognizing the plight of homeless individuals, elderly citizens, and impoverished families living in challenging conditions, our campaign extended its efforts to distribute blankets and shawls. These essential items played a crucial role in providing much-needed warmth and protection against the biting cold.

Environment Protection

Our main object is to educate local people and young children about protecting the environment, co-existing with nature, and impact of the environment on us. Through conducting workshops in the villages, campaigning, organizing drawing competitions in schools, essay writing competitions, and drives for cleanliness we encourage sustainable actions for protecting the environment and natural resources. We spread the word for cleanliness and adopting small habits to stop wastage of water, using dustbins, taking care of plants, etc.

Women Empowerment

We strongly believe if the women in the family are empowered then the whole family can shine. Through this project we recognize the women in the villages who, though underprivileged, have the potential to succeed with a little help and support. With financial support from NPF a few women in village of Kathuli, District Pauri, purchased cattle for their livelihood, another group of women from Rachhuli, District Pauri, village came up with an idea to do mushroom farming. These women have already started to earn sustainable income to support their families.

Social Welfare

“No one sleeps hungry” is a small initiative undertaken by NPF in Rishikesh. Through this initiative we have distributed food to beggars in Rishikesh as we feel it is our personal responsibility towards the society to ensure that no one is left hungry.

Awareness

We conduct small workshops with villagers to spread awareness of the facilities and benefits they can claim from the government’s new policies. We also conduct legal workshops to make them aware of their fundamental rights and duties so that they can become responsible citizens of the country and contribute in creating a great India.
